Have You Ever Had Sunburn?
7th March 2025

I for one love the sunshine, it lifts your mood instantly but with the recent increase in warmer weather it’s important you are taking your sun-care seriously. As May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, spreading the word about the importance of sun protection has never been greater.
As a Melanoma skin cancer survivor (the most dangerous of all skin cancers) this subject is close to my heart and I can’t stress the importance enough to you.
According to Cancer Research, there are 46 new cases each day which equates to 16,700 new cases of melanoma skin cancer per year in the UK- interestingly 86% of cases are preventable and as the UK isn’t known for having an abundance of hot weather, where are we going wrong.

Reapplication is vital, after 2 hours your sunscreen starts to break down and the damaging UV can penetrate. So, putting it on in the morning just isn’t enough I’m afraid. And that goes for the face and body.
Amongst an extensive portfolio of exclusive brands, I use a range of broad-spectrum SPFs that are formulated with skin-nourishing ingredients in a var
