Sun/Liver Spots
Sunspots are caused from UV sun exposure that results in an overproduction of melanin as the skin is under attack and stress. The skin responds to protect itself from sun damage and can leave a lasting pigmented mark. These are usually round but not always symmetrical. They are one of the easiest forms of hyper pigmentation to treat.
About this condition
My preferred procedure for this condition is the CryoPen. It can also be combined with a brightening medical grade prescriptive skincare protocol to further improve the skin tone overall.
Often when there are sunspots or liver spots present there will be other signs of UV damage. Results can be accelerated with either my microneedling or peel procedures to suppress, lighten and purge existing pigmentation.
