Verruca & Warts
Verruca and warts are caused by a virus. The virus can be spread to other people from contaminated surfaces or through close skin contact especially if your skin is wet or damaged.
About this condition
When contracted it can take months for a wart or verruca to appear. They appear as small, rough lumps on the skin. Verruca’s are usually found on the soles of your feet and can sometimes be mistaken for corns or calluses.
Both are easily treated using Cryosurgery whereby the lesion is frozen to -89 degrees. A verruca can take multiple treatments.
